Last weekend we took a road trip to Aberdeen (all done in 24 hours!) – how we managed it with 4 bodybuilders I have no idea! Anyway, it was an epic weekend and was great to meet some of the other team members and be surrounded by such inspiring athletes.
I also got chance to train at the warehouse gym – which is a fab gym with great kit and a great atmosphere too! I’ll 100% be going back.
Last few weeks now of my push before we back off for a while and go back down to HRT.
I’m heading to Paris with Ali this weekend for a much needed non bodybuilding related break!
It’s been a manic week! Busy with life, training my business, but it’s all super exciting.
I’m currently at my heaviest ever weight – 76.5kg, sitting around 14kg over stage weight. The plan is to push until the end of the month, then as we approach Feb I’ll be pulling back a little just to tidy up my body composition.
I finally made my plans for my next competitive season. With my coach, cal, we’ve decided to take a further year in off season. When I compete next time, I want to be competitive as a pro, so I just need to take a little longer away from the stage.
This years plans will focus on improving in all areas – I’m spending a lot of time working on my coaching business, dentistry, my physique and working on my mindset. I’m currently working with a mindset and life coach Rob Latti who is amazing.
So plan is to compete in the early 2024 pro shows. I’m excited to take some time away from the stage this year to develop my business, achieve some life goals away from bodybuilding, and work on developing a physique worthy of a pro stage placing.
Anyway, enough rambling – I’m currently heading up to Aberdeen with Jonny Robbie and Ali for the full boar seminar. I’m super excited! Even if it is a 6 hour drive!
