I wish my first blog would of been abit more positive but that’s not always the way bodybuilding goes!
Came out of health phase about 7 weeks ago ready to push and make some progress.
Starting cycle
450mg test e per week
800mg primo per week
25mg proviron daily
Week 2 into my push I started to develop some inflammation around my TFL just above my IT band. Cause of this was from squatting.
Decided to take out squats but the damage had already been done, silly me for a couple weeks still trying to push 6 plus plates on the hack which just hindered recovery massively. So decided to take a week off legs and heavy movements off the floor.
This helped a lot!
From then I took it up a plate at a time on the hack from a very moderate weight.
Then finally as of yesterday I was back to pushing some decent weight on the pendulum this time, with zero pain!
Now the set back has been rectified I now feel I can truly start my push and start gaining some decent weight.
The whole 7 weeks my weight has hovered around 268lb, I’m hoping to be able to gain another 10lb during this phase.
On a more positive note today was the last day of my job as a heating engineer,
moving forward I will be focusing on my coaching business, my gym and myself as bodybuilder!
So although Iv had a few set back I’m now in the right environment to put in 100% with all aspects of bodybuilding and business.
If your going to take anything useful out this blog I’d say don’t be stupid and push through injuries like I did! It’s cost me 7 weeks of progress and knocked confidence to guest pose which was meant to be this weekend.
Or I may of just been Jonny Mcs front latt that got me and I’m just making excuses 😆
