We will run this for 6 weeks or so post-show to take advantage of the rebound period and then we will enter a long health phase after that and do bloodwork and clean out prior to the first off-season push. I used an incredibly small amount of peds this prep compared to most people who turn pro, I am still very young and this is a game of longevity. I don’t need to use silly amounts and therefore I won’t. Patience is the priority at this stage now, all the time in the world ahead of me, no need to burn out my receptors or blow my kidneys or liver up.

    Training:
I will be adapting my split, just not immediately. I took a week off training post prep so have only just started to ease back in this week. When I am deeper in the off-season and food + recovery is better I will be adding a 6th training day or possibly doing 2 sessions a day on one push and one pull day. This will purely be to put more focus on my arm training, whether it be a 6th td of just arms or just splitting one push and pull session into back in the morning then biceps in the evening for example. still undecided, will probably try both at a later date and see which I prefer/recover better from. I have also changed my Density session to now be a quads and back session rather then a back and hams session.

Well here we are then… first blog as an IFBB Pro.
    -
Quick catch-up as it’s been a while since my last blog, prep took priority and all available energy I had went towards that, my apologies.
    -
On Sep 2nd I won the classic physique overall at the 2bros MK Classic. I ran no peak for this show, I just rocked up flat and took the whole thing.
2 weeks later I went to Alicante for the NPC European Pro Qualifier where I won junior classic physique, won Class B (out of 23 guys), and then went onto the overall where I won the entire show and got my pro card and a pretty cool ring. Unfortunately, I turned 21 years old 5 days before the pro qual so didn’t quite achieve a pro card at 20, but 21 will do.
    -
Having turned Pro on the Saturday I then went full send for the Europa Pro Pro show on the Sunday (with no expectations obviously). Got to walk out next to Wesley Vissers for the initial comparison which was pretty cool (and also a little demoralising). Ended up in the 3rd callout and placed 16th out of 23 Pros which was a surprisingly good result considering I was 18lbs under my pro weight cap.
    -
So that’s the wrap up for the season, as I just mentioned, my lightest weigh in of prep was 194lbs. My pro weight cap is now 212lbs. This means that I have 18lbs of pure stage weight to put on (will be even more in reality as I will need to be leaner to compete with the top pros). So with that being said the goal is now a very big off-season.
    -
Not looking to be back on stage until 2025 now, I need to grow… a lot. Tom and I haven’t pushed an off season hard together yet as we have been restricted by the amateur cap in the past but now I have huge amounts of room so its full send formy first ever off season longer than 6-8 months, which is all its been every year since I started competing in 2020.
    -
Lots of exciting things to come, phase on is complete, pro card acquired, now the sights move to the O… long way to go before that though, will document this off season as always on here with the first update on training, food and peds coming next week.

PEAK WEEK 2BROS MK CLASSIC (regional qualifier) – 2.5 weeks out from the Pro Qualifier still.
    -
Into peak week… not that it is really one as we just plan to diet straight through this first show as the result is not important as the pro qual in 2.5 weeks is what we want to bring my best to. This morning I woke up at a new prep low of 199.7lbs. My weight cap is 202lbs and for the last 3 weeks or so we have just been sitting comfortably around the weight cap refeeding and running baseline just holding the look. Cardio was pulled out last week and steps dropped to 10k a day. This week we just havn’t run any high days and are just digging straight through which is why I have dropped off a little. Reason for this is just to create some space under the cap for the regional this weekend so that I can have some meals in me prior to weigh ins at 5pm this Friday.
    -
On stage Saturday morning for the first run out of this season, very happy with the look but like I said this first show means absolutely nothing, it is merely a box we have to tick in order to be allowed to compete abroad.
    -
Relaxed, ready, and incredibly happy with how this prep has gone so far. Any results this season are a bonus at this point, I am truly already satisfied with the look alone. :)

6 weeks out Update Part 2 (basically 5 weeks out now)
    -
The IFBB announced changes to the classic physique weight cap midweek so now I can be 5lbs heavier on stage which is an absolute game changer (if you read last weeks log you will understand why). Old cap was 197lbs, new cap is 202lbs.
    -
So now I am only 5lbs off of my cap with just under 6 weeks to go, a great spot to be in, very nearly ready and all the time in the world.
    -
I went for an in person check-in with Tom yesterday and he saw me at my flattest and lightest so far, 206.5lbs upon wake. As a result we have run 2 high days again, today and tmrw, details as followed:
    -
+600g additional carbs on top of normal food today
    -
+600g Additional carbs on top of normal food tmrw + a burger and fries and dessert tmrw night.
    -
20iu Insulin used with meal 1 both days and Strom Glycomax taken with every meal of the refeed.
    -
    Total Macros today:
    910g C
    310g P
    30g F
Tmrw’s will be the same + all the additional macros that come from the burger fries and dessert.
    -
Very much needed, just a case of refeed and dig, refeed and dig now until we’re under the cap with life still in the physique.
